This popular 1-day workplace first aid course meets the guidelines from WorkSafe New Zealand and is recommended for the majority of workplaces. Designed to equip participants with essential skills, the course leads to a comprehensive first aid certificate, ensuring you are prepared to respond to emergencies in any workplace environment.
This first aid course covers a full range of first aid techniques that are crucial in both low-risk and high-risk work settings. By practising real-life scenarios, you will gain the confidence and competence to provide first aid when an accident or emergency occurs, securing your workplace first aid certificate.
There are no prerequisite requirements for this course.
As of 1 February 2023, you can refresh this first aid course provided your certificate is no older than 2 years and 3 months from the date of issue.
This course includes CPR training on adults, children and infants, AED's, shock, common injuries & illnesses and how to manage emergency situations.
If you would like these credits logged with NZQA, please provide your National Student Number (NSN) and your date of birth to your MediTrain Instructor.
